Angus Cornhole Club – Terms of Service
Effective Date: September 1st, 2025
Welcome to the Angus Cornhole Club. By registering, attending, or participating in any event, league, or activity organized by Angus Cornhole Club, you (“the Participant”) agree to the following Terms of Service:
1. Eligibility & Registration
- Participants must be at least 18 years old or have written parental/guardian consent.
- Registration requires accurate and complete information.
- By registering, participants acknowledge acceptance of this agreement.
2. Participation & Conduct
- Participants agree to uphold good sportsmanship, respect, and fairness at all times.
- Harassment, abuse, cheating, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated.
- Angus Cornhole Club reserves the right to remove or suspend participants who violate these terms.
3. Waiver of Liability
Participation in cornhole activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, or injuries from equipment.
By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks and agree not to hold Angus Cornhole Club, Ontario Cornhole Association, Cornhole Canada, facility owners, staff, volunteers, or affiliates liable for any injury, loss, or damage.
Participants agree to promptly report unsafe conditions to Angus Cornhole Club staff.
4. Payment, Refunds, & Cancellations
- All fees must be paid in full prior to participation.
- Registration fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
- If Angus Cornhole Club cancels an event, a refund or credit will be issued.
- Players withdrawing after a season has started are not entitled to a refund.
5. Facility & Equipment Use
- Participants must treat facilities and equipment with respect.
- Intentional damage or negligence may result in financial responsibility for repairs or replacement.
6. Photo & Media Release
Angus Cornhole Club may photograph record or stream events for promotional purposes. By participating, you grant permission to use your image and likeness.
Participants may opt out by providing written notice prior to the event.
7. Privacy & Communication
Angus Cornhole Club collects and uses personal information for registration, scheduling, updates, and club-related communications.
By registering, participants agree to receive communications from Angus Cornhole Club.
8. Code of Fair Play
All participants must follow the rules of cornhole as set forth by Cornhole Canada and the Ontario Cornhole Association.
Honesty, respect, and integrity are expected at all times.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes or concerns should be raised with Angus Cornhole Club organizers first.
Angus Cornhole Club reserves the right to make final decisions on standings, rules, and discipline.
10. Amendments
Angus Cornhole Club may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
By registering or participating in Angus Cornhole Club activities, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
