Jason Savard, a member of Horse Lake First Nation with a background in softball pitching, recently discovered cornhole and found it to be a challenging yet engaging activity. After immersing himself in the cornhole community and realizing its potential for fostering connections and well-being, Jason decided to initiate a cornhole league in his community. With the aim of promoting unity and addressing social issues, particularly mental health, Jason enlisted the help of community members to establish the league. Alongside Jesse Savard and Bruce Horseman, Jason serves as one of the league’s directors, working towards building a platform for positive community engagement and support.
